DUBOIS - tube cutting and shaping

Founded in 1962, DUBOIS originally specialised in tube tapering. Over the years, the company has diversified and expanded into the wider field of tube processing. Today, Dubois supports its customers in the creation of innovative products, from laser cutting through to the most demanding assembly solutions.

  • Laser cutting of tubes
    • Round tubes: min. 12 mm – max. 154 mm
    • Square tubes: min. 12 x 12 mm – max. 125 x 125 mm
    • Rectangular and oval tubes: min. 10 x 12 mm
    • MCR, elliptical: max. diagonal < 172 mm
    • Flat sections, angle sections, U-sections
    • Max. workpiece length: loading 6500 mm / unloading 6000 mm
    • Fibre laser power: 3 kW
    • Steel thickness 8, stainless steel and aluminium thickness 5

 

  • Bending / Rolling: Up to Ø 63 mm for round tubes and 60 x 60 mm for square tubes
  • Welding, brazing
  • Reducing and tapering: A cold-hammering technique used to reduce the diameter of round tubes over a length of up to 1 m (Dimensions: Ø 5 to 80 mm, wall thickness 0.5 to 10 mm)
  • Round tube dimensions: diameter 5 to 80 mm and wall thickness 0.5 to 10 mm.
  • Flaring, end forming
