The challenge
As part of the installation of a turnkey plant, a major player in the plastics industry has entrusted our CMM entity with the design and manufacture of a 50-meter-long technical walkway. This walkway is a strategic element of the site, designed to ensure:
- fluid distribution,
- secure technical access,
- equipment support,
- and operational traffic.
The customer was looking for a partner capable of supporting the entire project: from the initial idea to co-design, from manufacturing to on-site delivery.
Our solution
Feasibility study
Analysis of the environment, mechanical and structural constraints, evaluation of loads and interfaces, definition of a framework suitable for a length of 50 meters.
Co-design and 3D CAD
3D structural modeling, definition of reinforcements and assemblies, integration of networks and cable trays, preparation of execution and assembly plans.
Mobilization of multiple areas of expertise Hexalean
In order to meet the entire demand, we called upon several of our sites and trades: metalworking, long-length welding, laser cutting, machining, painting, and finishing.
Logistical adaptation
Internal handling adapted to large dimensions, reinforced packaging, preparation of dedicated transport, and coordination with the customer.
Ten-year warranty
We guarantee the structure for a period of 10 years, covering design, manufacturing, and preparation for installation.
